Can I go to university without A-Levels or traditional qualifications?

Yes. Many universities we work with offer foundation year courses designed for people who don’t have A-Levels or recent qualifications. Your work or life experience can often be enough. We’ll help you find the right option and guide you through the process.

Who do you usually help?

We work with adults across England who want a practical way into higher education. Most of our students haven’t studied for a while, are juggling work or family, or simply don’t have the grades. If you’re motivated to study, we’ll help you find a route in.

Which universities and cities can I apply to?

We can connect you with universities in London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham and other major cities. The right choice depends on what you want to study and where you’d like to be based. Our team will go through the options with you.

Do I have to pay Academic Marketing anything?

No. Our support is completely free for students. We’re funded by the universities, not by you. There are no hidden charges. You only go ahead if you’re happy with the place we help you secure.

What funding can I get and how does it work?

Most students are eligible for a Tuition Fee Loan to cover their course and a Maintenance Loan to help with living costs. The exact amount depends on where you live and your household income — currently it can be over £13,000 a year in London. You only start paying it back once you’ve finished your course and are earning above the government threshold. We’ll support you with the Student Finance application.

Am I eligible for Student Finance?

This depends on things like your residency status, whether you’ve studied in higher education before, and the course you choose. Don’t worry — we’ll talk you through it on your first call and explain what applies to you before you submit anything.

What happens after I fill in the form?

You’ll get a call from one of our admissions specialists. They’ll ask about your goals, explain your options, and confirm your eligibility. If you want to go ahead, we’ll guide you through the application, Student Finance forms, and enrollment.

What documents do I need?

Usually just your photo ID, proof of address or residency, and if you have them, any certificates or transcripts. If you’re applying for a creative subject you may need a portfolio, or you may be asked for a simple CV. We’ll let you know exactly what’s needed

When can I start?

Universities we work with have multiple intakes each year — typically September, November, February and May. The sooner you apply, the more choice you’ll have. We’ll help you target the next available start date that suits you.
